The State of California requires manufacturers doing business in the state to disclose their efforts to eradicate human trafficking and slavery from their direct supply chains. To that end, Neeco:
Neeco has put a global compliance practice in place to address risks of human trafficking and slavery and as a verification tool. All suppliers must verify and comply with the Neeco Supplier Code of Business Conduct (NSCBC). Neeco has also added language to its supplier contracts to expressly prohibit any form of human trafficking for U.S. government-related projects. At this time, all supplier verifications are conducted solely by Neeco employees.
Neeco utilizes a risk based approach to determine audit requirements for direct suppliers. Neeco audits suppliers utilizing supply chain personnel as well as trained auditors. At this time all audits are pre scheduled in coordination with the supplier. No unannounced visits are made.
NSCBC is presented to every supplier and the supplier is required to adhere to it. Neeco contracts require suppliers to comply with the laws of the countries in which they are doing business. Neeco’s direct suppliers certify their compliance with the laws of the countries that they do business regarding slavery and human trafficking through their acceptance of the terms and conditions regarding the same in agreements with Neeco.
Neeco requires all of its employees to comply with Neeco’s policies, which includes provisions that do not allow for the use of slave labor or human trafficking in any form in the manufacture of its products. Neeco’s policies are enforced continually, which includes procedures for employees to ensure they meet these standards.
Neeco culture is centered on ethics, integrity and trust. Our values drive how we treat each other, our customers, suppliers, partners and even our competitors. By combining uncompromising character, transparent business behavior, mutual respect, and world-class products and services, we seek to build an enduring culture that creates satisfied customers, engaged employees and sustainable, profitable growth. All associates directly responsible for supply chain management are trained on the Neeco’s policy and procedures regarding human trafficking and slavery.
